Although the Circuit Breaker is finally lifted, we’ll still have to go through a challenging time to bring back our “New Normal” life. With that, we have planned an online cooking class for families with/without helpers/children stuck in home getting bored, to provide fun time and freshen up their monotonous days through cooking. I hope you all have fun with this lesson as one of the indoor activities during this stay-home period.

Those who don’t employ helpers are of course welcome to join us, so please take this opportunity to try our live cooking lessons online. We have a variety of classes to suit your needs. We hope you have a great time at home.

This is a special collaboration project with &H, Morinaga and Whisk Management, who want to spread the joy of delicious, easy home cooking.

“A delicious Japanese home-cooked style at an affordable price!” is Morinaga’s policy, which has been supported by so many Japanese fans who have been in Singapore for a long time. The owner-chef is a former math teacher, hence it is his profession to teach the details of ingredients, cooking techniques and serving of home cooking in an easy-to-understand manner.

Sonia Phua, a Singaporean who runs Whisk Management, who has taught a wide range of Japanese cooking; from home cooking, party cooking, baking, desserts to Japanese confectionery at one of the biggest Japanese cooking schools for over 4 years. As she is also familiar in Japanese culture, she can teach Japanese ingredients, particular flavors, and presentation in an easy-to-understand way.

For various needs, you can choose from Basics of Japanese food, Japanese food for those with experience (including Japanese style Chinese and Western food), as well as desserts and baking that can be done with children.

The lesson will be conducted Live Online using Zoom, and it is designed for everyone to cook together. (No zoom account is required) You may join the lesson as an observer; however, it is highly recommended to participate in a live as “live cooking” experience during this hard-to-connect period is definitely more fun. Anyone is welcome including small children and those who do not employ helpers.

You can enjoy the dishes you cook at this lesson as lunch/dinner/snack afterwards.

*&H operates all the cooking classes in accordance with the latest measures and regulations issued by the Singapore government.

This is a Kids friendly class. We will make dessert in a minimal amount of time so that young children won’t get bored. This is an easy/simple class that is suitable for families with kids, and you don’t need complicated tools and ingredients.

Bread with KIDS

A baking class that turns into your lunch. A lot of people might bake sweets occasionally but not bake bread that often. This class is specially tailored for beginners to bake bread without a hustle. Let’s bake some delicious bread with your kids!

Beginner Japanese Cooking

I want to learn the basics of Japanese cooking, I want my helper to learn fundamental Japanese cooking. This class is the best deal that you can learn 3 dishes in 90 minutes. Suitable for beginners to learn Japanese cuisine. After the class, your dinner is ready to serve! Dream class for busy moms.

Daily menu tends to become stuck in a rut. Learn the tastes/techniques of the restaurant and expand your culinary capability. Learn to cook new dishes with =easy-to-get ingredients, and once class is done, your lunch is ready!

    2.Arrange payment via Bank Transfer / PayNow. (If you already have a package, move on to next step)

    3.We will create a WhatsApp group for participants to share the     ingredient list and recipes in advance when we receive a minimum of 8 participants or 5 days prior to the event.

    4.Buy all the listed ingredients and be prepared for that day. (Please let us know if you have difficulties finding them. We can show you alternatives)

    5.Link for the Zoom meeting will be shared via WhatsApp. (No zoom account is required)

    6.Make sure to be prepared with all the listed ingredients and equipment at least 10 minutes before the class starts, and wait for the lesson to start.

    7.We will inform you in advance if any prep work is required.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • Please note that a 100% cancellation fee will be charged after a recipe is shared.
      (*The recipe and the list of ingredients/equipment will be shared either we receive a minimum of 8 participants or 5 days prior to the event. Whichever the earliest.)
  • Precautions:
    • The minimum number of participants is 8. The lesson may be postponed/cancelled if it does not meet the minimum at least 5 days prior to the date/time.

    • If you have not been invited to WhatsApp group within 2 days of your payment, please notify us at and.h.singapore@gmail.com
    • In the event of cancellation, you may choose to extend the package’s expiration date or seek for refund.
    • If your helper is the one who joins the WhatsApp group, please make sure to check whether her phone number has been added to the group.
    • You can leave a WhatsApp group at any time. If you don’t need it, please leave by yourself without informing us.
    • Please refrain from contacting the instructor personally.
    • If you are unable to attend the class with your own reasons, no refund will be made.
